The story
Syncta is a web platform for salons and barbershops: bookings, staff, locations, and a WhatsApp assistant that takes appointments and answers common questions, so nobody has to pick up the phone mid-haircut. It came from a returning client who had spotted a gap in the Latin American market and needed to move before competitors did.
Building it was the easy half. WhatsApp was not. Business messaging runs through Meta's review queues and tools, and some permissions cannot be handed to a contractor. Parts of the setup had to be done on screen-share calls with the owner, one step at a time, waiting on approvals we did not control.
We finalised the design with the client quickly and started building almost straight away. We handled design, development and the paperwork. Syncta went from requirements to live in 6 weeks, and the client spent under an hour a week on it.
What was hard, and how we solved it
Problem
Manual booking
Appointments are booked by hand in chat threads. Owners double-book slots and miss messages.
Costly no-shows
Clients forget their slot. Nobody sends reminders, so empty chairs cost money every week.
No client history
Bookings live in chat history. Owners cannot see revenue, repeat visits, or who stopped coming.
Solution
WhatsApp booking bot
An interactive chatbot books, reschedules, and cancels inside WhatsApp. Nothing to install.
Automated reminders
Confirmations and reminders send themselves on schedule. Fewer missed slots, less chasing.
Built-in CRM & analytics
Every booking builds a client profile with visits, revenue, and no-show history in one dashboard.
