The story
Scene Seek helps people find somewhere to go tonight: a live map of nightlife venues with a custom recommendation engine behind it, and a web dashboard where venues manage their own listings. The founder had designs and needed a first version to test whether the market wanted it.
The founder liked the designs until they tested the build, then asked for a major part to be redesigned. That is usually where a fixed timeline breaks. We looked for the most cost-effective version of the change that still made the app stand out, so neither the budget nor the timeline blew up.
The app was published on both stores within the 8-week development cycle, redesign included. We met weekly throughout.

What was hard, and how we solved it
