The story
FincaFlow is a farm management app for livestock, fields, tasks and finances. The founder saw a gap: farm owners had no decent digital tool to run their operations. He came to us inbound, having seen our earlier AI work, because the AI part had to be done properly.
That AI was the hard part. It had to answer from the farmer's own herd records, field data and financial history, not from general farming knowledge. There was no ready-made way to connect an assistant to an app's live data at the time, so we built our own connector that gives the assistant access to everything in the app.
Around it we built livestock and field tracking, a financial overview, a task calendar with reminders, weather alerts, offline use with sync, and English and Spanish. We handled design, architecture, development, the AI and the App Store submission, going from concept to submission in 17 weeks.
“Roman and agency were fantastic developers. When we faced challenges, they were flexible enough to make sure the app performs as envisioned. Would recommend to other founders! I will be continuing to work with them in the future.”
What was hard, and how we solved it
Problem
Records on paper
Daily notes on crops, herds, and spending sit in notebooks, so nothing adds up at the end of a season.
Hidden margins
Farmers cannot tell which field or which herd makes money and which one drains it.
No signal in the field
The work happens far from coverage, so data gets written down much later, or never.

Solution
One farm record
Crops, livestock, finance, tasks, and the calendar sit in a single app.
Cost per field and head
Income and expenses tag to a field or a herd, and reports show the margin behind each one.
Offline first
Records are captured out in the field and sync as soon as the phone gets a connection.
