Client Problem
I run a Tier-A Software Development Agency. We've got a very important project, but we can't meet a deadline - you know, happens sometimes.
We would like to outsource this app to someone. But it has to be a fixed-price project with a very strict deadline. We want to test the app ourselves before it goes to our customer, and we can't afford to deliver late because our brand will suffer.

Our Solution
Problem sounds pretty straightforward. Main goal is to deliver a few weeks in advance so that we have time to double-test everything internally, just in case.

Main challenge is to work with client's existing designs - those are incomplete and inconsistent, looks like they are not really suitable for a mobile app.

How we made it work
1. Analysis
We had to make sure designs covered all app functions. Once all necessary changes were made, we were able to create a fixed-price offer with a fixed, guaranteed timeline.
2. Product Development
Resource allocation was straightforward, as for any other project we build from scratch. We implemented all necessary features and were able to make sure everything works as expected.
Client came back with some changes to the fundamental logic - and that's when the issues began. While we usually charge for such changes, we understood that client satisfaction mattered more than extra cash. So we fixed everything and noted a few places we could improve our process to collect requirements in a better way. Since then, we doubled down on more thorough analysis and, as a result, have saved tens of thousands of dollars for us and our clients.
3. Support
Once the app behaved as needed, we launched the product. We were not expected to support the app, but we were still in touch just in case. But no requests were sent to us - as promised - apart from a few minor things.
This project added another 5-star testimonial from a great client to our portfolio, and a priceless change to our internal algorithms that already paid us more than the value of this app.
