Client Problem
I've got an IPTV app built for LG and Samsung. Now, I need to expand to AndroidTV and create an Android app.
The project is quite successful and I don't want to lose momentum.

Our Solution
The project is pretty straightforward, but we still have to make sure it is delivered ahead of schedule.
We will focus on AndroidTV first to understand their existing architecture, and then will use the same, shared codebase, to build an Android app, cutting the project costs in half.
We have to make sure the app is pixel-perfect related to client's Figma design.

How we made it work
1. Architecture
We quickly went through the project documentation to create an appropriate architecture for both apps.
It was important to have architecture in place before we wrote a single line of code, because, if done right, architecture would've cut the project costs in half. Which it did.
2. Product Development
The process was pretty straightforward, as with any other app we build from scratch. Thanks to our prior TV development experience, we managed to build the TV part quite quick and moved to mobile development.
During the development of mobile app, we also implemented a few client requests related to the TV app. We tested both products once again and hit the "publish" button.
3. Launch & Support
The client is expert at launching apps. They handled it great, with a lot of marketing effort. We were monitoring the app state to make sure there are no bugs at all. Now the apps feel great, with project having 2.7M+ downloads in total.
