Client Concept
In our life we often run into the situations where we want to see what's going on right now somewhere else. Are you a traveler, a busy person running late in a traffic jam or just a dreamer, having a tool which lets you see any place in the world live is an opportunity you would never want to miss.

Our Solution
Creating an application which connects people from all over the world letting them to request a video recording from anywhere on the planet and get an instant result from the other users. The features of a social network (i. e. profiles, comments, likes, etc.) are required to keep the users engaged and make them reply instantly to the other users requests. On the other hand, the app should inherit a video-streaming service behavior to ensure smooth experience without media quality losses.
Another interesting technical aspect of Scuvu is advanced geolocation-related functionality. The app has to track position of the users in realtime to show them notifications about new media requests created in their area. This element is quite tricky in terms of legal compliance with Apple and Google application stores, and requires additional effort in terms of users data protection and publishing the app.
For convenient users management and efficient content moderation we decided to create a web-based content management system. Here the client and his team could see all the users, the media they post and take necessary actions in case of the company policies violations.

How we made it work
1. Analysis
We spent 2 weeks discussing client's vision, gathering and structuring the requirements. We created a flowchart and a rough prototype being a core for the future UX. After the prototype was ready, we developed a detailed technical documentation exploring all pros and cons of different technologies and approaches to be used in the app (For example Google Maps vs Apple Maps, etc.).
2. UI/UX Design
One of our Co-founders and a designer worked closely with the client to create the best possible user experience following latest design guidelines. This work included analyzing target audience and its preferences to ensure that the UX is competitive in the market. Main deliverable of this was was a development-ready design file with a clickable wireframe which could be used for pitching the investments even before the MVP is live.
3. Product Development
A team of a manager (being one of our co-founders), a Swift iOS developer, a Kotlin android developer, a full-stack web engineer and a manual tester worked for 8 weeks to develop the app as per the designs and the technical documentation produced as a result of the previous phases. We had weekly meetings with the client providing regular reports and making adjustments based on client's feedback.
4. Cost Optimization
After the app had been developed and run through the required amount of testing iterations, we proceeded to publishing. Here we had to ensure that the app's back-end can withstand estimated amount of active users while keeping the hosting costs as low as possible. In addition to that, we went through a process of publishing the application to Google and Apple application stores and made sure it complies with all their policies.
5. Support
The last stage of this project was an intensive support period. We were performing an advanced monitoring to quickly rect on the bugs and errors which could be identified during first weeks of the app's public presence.
