The story
SkinAI+ is a skin-check app for a MedTech startup. You point your phone camera at a mark on your skin, and the app analyses it and flags whether it is worth showing a doctor. It also has an interactive 3D body model, an AI chat assistant and automatic reminders.
The startup needed the whole product designed and built from scratch, and the 3D body model was the biggest unknown. It had to run smoothly on the cheapest phones on the market, not just flagships, and finding an approach that did took real research into rendering performance.
We designed and built it and published it on both the App Store and Google Play, 3 months after kickoff. The client had worked with many subcontractors before, which makes their feedback mean more to us.
